Visit the University of Richmond Museums

The University of Richmond Museums is located in Richmond's West End on the campus of the University of Richmond. The surrounding campus and neighboring areas provide a beautiful setting for the arts and offer a number of local restaurants for pre- or post-performance dining. If arriving by car, free parking for Modlin Center venues is available off of Crenshaw Way.

From Interstate 64:
From Exit 183/Glenside Drive South take Glenside Drive to Three Chopt Rd. Turn left onto Three Chopt and follow it for approximately one mile then turn right onto Boatwright Drive. At the intersection entering campus Boatwright becomes College Road, continue on College Road past the Westhampton Lake until reaching the first left after the lake. Turn left into the gates (Keller Road) and then take the first right onto Westhampton Way, after passing several parking lots turn left into the Modlin Center for the Arts parking lot (you will see a large sculpture in the Modlin Center lot).

From Downtown:
Take Interstate 95 North to Interstate 64 West then follow the above instructions.

OR

Follow Main Street west until Thompson (Main will change names to Ellwood after the Boulevard), make a left onto Thompson and then an immediate right onto Cary Street. Follow Cary Street several miles and turn right at River Road (fourth light). Take River Road about 1/2 mile and turn right onto College Road, take the second right (through the gates) onto Keller Road, take the first right onto Westhampton Way, after passing several parking lots turn left into the Modlin Center for the Arts parking lot (you will see a large sculpture in the Modlin Center lot).

From the South:
Cross the Huguenot Bridge and turn left at River Road (the first light). Take River Road about 1/2 mile and turn right onto College Road, take the second right (through the gates) onto Keller Road, take the first right onto Westhampton Way, after passing several parking lots turn left into the Modlin Center for the Arts parking lot (you will see a large sculpture in the Modlin Center lot).

Parking:
Since both spaces are located in the Modlin Center for the Arts, a substantial visitor parking lot is available off of Crenshaw Way, adjacent to the Modlin Center.

The Lora Robins Gallery of Design from Nature is located in Boatwright Library, with a separate entrance via the side of the building along Richmond Way. 

From Interstate 64:

From Exit 183/Glenside Drive South. Turn right to take Glenside Drive to Three Chopt Rd. Turn left onto Three Chopt and follow it for approximately one mile then turn right onto Boatwright Drive. Take Boatwright to the main entrance then turn left onto Campus Drive. After about 1/4 of a mile turn right onto UR Drive and make an immediate right onto Richmond Way. Follow Richmond Way down the hill towards Westhampton Lake and the Gallery is the last building on the left before the lakefront turn (across from Thomas Hall). There are a limited number of visitor parking places along Richmond Way.

Parking:

The reserved visitor parking for the Lora Robins Gallery of Design from Nature, is severely limited. There are a limited number of visitor parking places along Richmond Way. If these visitor spaces are full, please stop by the museum to receive a temporary parking pass. If you know when you want to visit the Lora Robins Gallery you may register in advance with Parking Services and have a parking pass mailed to you. This pass will allow our patrons to park in parking spaces for students, faculty, and staff.
