Meet @ the Museum Design Contest

**Due to the University's response to COVID-19, the design contest and the March 19 campus vote on the Forum with King of Pops has been canceled.** 

The University Museums invite you to participate in a design contest!  University of Richmond students, this is your opportunity to create a design for our signature event - Meet @ the Museum. We are looking for a design that is both creative and embraces the spirit of the event.

Entries must be submitted by midnight, Mar. 6, 2020

The winning design* gets an Amazon Echo and will be featured on a t-shirt and unveiled at our last Meet @ of the year, Thurs., April 6, 5-6 p.m., Harnett Museum of Art, Modlin Center. 

*The winning design may be used for promotional items, print, and digital media.

Design Requirements

The design must meet the following requirements:

  • Meet Title IX guidelines (no alcohol-related images)
  • Minimum design dimensions are 4.25" x 5.5"
  • Maximum design dimensions are 8.5" x 11" 
  • Include the text "Meet @ the Museums" and the Instagram handle @ur_museums

The winner must be open to suggestions for edits to their design.

Deadlines + How to Submit Design
  • Submissions due by midnight, March 6th
  • JPEG image of the design must be submitted to museums@richmond.edu
Juror Process

The student-staff of the University of Richmond Museums--roughly 30 students--will review the submissions and select 3 to 5 final designs.

The campus community will have the opportunity to vote on the final designs on March 19, 2020, University Forum, and King of Pops will be handing out popsicles!
