About Us

University of Richmond Museums comprises the Joel and Lila Harnett Museum of Art, the Joel and Lila Harnett Print Study Center, and the Lora Robins Gallery of Design from Nature. The museums are home to diverse and fascinating collections and exhibitions of art, artifacts, and natural history specimens. 

Museum Hours & Admission

The Joel and Lila Harnett Museum of Art, Joel and Lila Harnett Print Study Center, and the Lora Robins Gallery of Design from Nature are open Sunday through Friday, 1 to 5 p.m. Please check the open and close dates for each exhbition as you plan your visit.

The University Museums are free and open to the public. 

Special Closings

The Museums are closed for University events and holidays including:

  • Summer Break (May 6 – August 22, 2017)

Lora Robins Gallery of Design from Nature
This Museum is located on the ground floor of Boatwright Library, with a separate exterior entrance on Richmond Way. See directions for maps and parking information.
